Right, and filling out the form gives you a useless 2 page fancy market thing. I've contacted them about the proper data sheet, but I have little hopes.

On that page, under the docs tab, there was a link to a datasheet and some other docs. Those links lead to form.

Am I hallucinating or no?

I'm afraid not.

The USB core in the AS3525 (used in the AMS Sansas) is identified as "DesignWare USB 2.0 HI-SPEED ON-THE-GO Controller Subsystem" made by Synopsys.

This piece is a 3rd party "IP block" that AMS has licensed from Synopsys, and we have no docs at all for this as Synopsys doesn't seem to hand it out and AMS has no rights or ability to do so either.

I believe the following URL describes this component: http://synopsys.com/dw/ipdir.php?ds=dwc_usb_2_0_hs_otg

And without docs it is hard to get USB going...
