Look at Gecko/KHTML/Webkit. KHTML developers didn&#039;t improve Gecko, they made something that is at least more popular on some platforms (especially mobile). But it also powers Chrome, Safari, &amp; others on the desktop, along with many phones. I was annoyed at first at all the resources that were put into Chrome, that could&#039;ve been used to improve Firefox. At the same time, I think the competition is good. Things were stagnating a bit.</description>
