Five hours by train from Cuzco is Aguas Calientes. There's basically only one street here: the railroad tracks. As soon as the daily train has left, all commerce moves out on the tracks. The sun sets very early, around two o'clock, because of the high mountains that surround the entire village.

The platform. The building to the right is our hotel.
Queuing for train tickets. The sales office was only open between 2-4 o'clock.
