Cat Ba Island

The island of Cat Ba is located in the Halong Bay area. Just a few years ago, the island didn't even have any electricity or telephones. Now some of the magic is probably gone. It's nevertheless a beautful place.

Cat Ba national park. The tower up there between the hills is where we ended up after a rather hot and steep climbing. The view from the watch tower at the top of the mountain was breathtaking!
