Because our trip to Halong Bay was delayed (typhoon, they said), we were offered to join this day-tour instead. It turned out to be a great day.

After a pretty bumpy ride we were taken by rowing boat along a canal.
The scenery was breathtaking!
Passing a few mini-temples, showing that the water level was really
high right now.
 To reach the pagoda, we had to walk the last part. The temperature turned it into an endurance test... |
 ...but the reward was spectacular. Jungle, hills and us. |
