Given this long history it is fun to see some very clear trends. Like this first one: look at the distribution of commits per weekday over the entire period. The amount of commits done during weekends are significantly lower than during the work week, and the Sunday amount is clearly even lower than Saturday:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/curl.haxx.se\/gitstats\/activity.html#day_of_week\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3522\" title=\"day_of_week\" src=\"http:\/\/daniel.haxx.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/day_of_week.png\" alt=\"day_of_week\" width=\"640\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/daniel.haxx.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/day_of_week.png 640w, https:\/\/daniel.haxx.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/day_of_week-150x56.png 150w, https:\/\/daniel.haxx.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/day_of_week-300x112.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, we can see how the activity is spread out over calendar months.
