FrexxEd is a FREE very configurable and programmable text editor Daniel Stenberg and Kjell Ericson wrote between the years 1991 and 1997. It is targeted and only available for AmigaOS. FrexxEd was formerly shareware, but that was then and now is now.

Download the last alpha-release, the 2.1 alpha 13 (163457 bytes). Note that this requires that you already have the original 2.0-version installed! (This is last one in the series of releases from Allan Purtle, dated Tue, 15 Sep 1998.) This is reported pretty unstable and is really not recommended.
Allan Purtle claims to have stopped all development and to have deleted all source files of his work. I did ask him to send them to me to at least bring the project forward but he accuses me for enouraging software piracy (or something like that) and refuses to. I am very dissapointed with that attitude of his, and thus project FrexxEd is still on the 2.0 state.
