Perfume Pagoda

Because our trip to Halong Bay was delayed (typhoon, they said), we were offered to join this day-tour instead. It turned out to be a great day.

Believe it or not, but this is what the Vietnamese call the highway...

Typical road stand. They have those tiny plastic chairs everywhere.

After a pretty bumpy ride we were taken by rowing boat along a canal.

The scenery was breathtaking!

Passing a few mini-temples, showing that the water level was really high right now.

To reach the pagoda, we had to walk the last part. The temperature turned it into an endurance test...

...but the reward was spectacular. Jungle, hills and us.
