About this blog

I’m Daniel Stenberg, an internet protocol geek and developer of network related stuff. I live and work in Sweden. daniel.haxx.se is my blog where I post what I feel like.

I blog about all sorts of projects, related to both spare time and professional things but also things I think are fun or upsetting or just subjects I feel like sharing with my friends and readers.

Open source, networking and associated technology are primary interests of mine.

Independence plea

I do not accept any compensation for posting on my blog. I will not endorse your products nor write about you or your brands unless you’ve done something cool or fun or interesting that makes it fun to mention. And then I write about them on my own terms without any compensation.

I also don’t speak for my employer or organizations I work with. I speak for myself.

  1. Hi Daniel

i have a question about this article
coz i didn’t really grasp what you mean, I found the same file on my website serve … is that a usual file generated by PHP or that means someone was trying to hack my website and is it same to delete this file

    Thank you

  2. That file contains cookies saved by curl. It is impossible for anyone outside of your machine to tell you how it ended up there. Something on your machine used curl and saved cookies in that file…
