The guys working on the Rockbox port for the Olympus M:Robe 500 player have now reached a state where adding mrobe 500 builds to the Rockbox build table makes sense and there will soon also be zip files provided for download for ordinary mortals.

The only thing left before that will happen is some basic documentations adapted for this target for user.
