fscons in Gothenburg 7-8 Dec 2007

The Free Software Conference Scandinavia will be held at ITUniversitetet in Gothenburg, 7-8 December 2007.

A gnu head!

I’m invited to do a talk there and so I plan. The fscons site that’s supposed to cover this event seems to remain inaccessible though…

The subject? curl – but I haven’t yet written the description for it so I’ll present that later on.

I look forward to that Daniel! I use a lot of perl stuff which has tons of tools for downloading urls and I don’t get to use curl as often as I like. But when I am in the shell I find it an excellent tool. Perhaps you can show some use cases like automating downloads nightly via cron or maybe compare it feature-wise with wget?

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll see what I can cram in, as the talk is probably gonna be limited to 45 minutes and then it certainly is a bit limited to what subjects I’ll be able to touch…
